We Make Our Own Maple Syrup at Home (S3 E5)

It takes 40 gallons of maple sap to make one gallon of maple syrup… but is it worth it?

In this video, we tap our maple trees, collect fresh maple sap, taste it straight from the jar, and walk through the full process of boiling sap down into pure maple syrup at home.

From the first drip out of the tree to the finished amber syrup in the bottle, I’m sharing exactly how it works — including how much sap it actually takes to make syrup. If you’ve ever wondered:

  • What maple sap tastes like
  • Whether you can drink sap straight from a tree, or turn it into syrup
  • How maple syrup is made
  • How much sap you need to boil
  • Or if you can make maple syrup at home

This is the full process we follow every year here on our farm.

🍁 FREE MAPLE SYRUP GUIDE: I’ve written down everything we use and follow — our notes, our process, and the recipe we come back to each year.
