Ingredients
Ingredients
2(5-ounce) canstunadrained well (or 2 tuna packets)
If using canned, drain the tuna well and press out the liquid, then flake it into a medium bowl. Pouches can go straight into a bowl.
Stir in the mayonnaise, sweet relish, and garlic powder (plus a splash of relish brine and Dijon, if using) until combined.
Gently fold in the celery and red onion, being careful not to overmix.
Season with salt and pepper, then taste and adjust the mayo or relish as needed.
Chill for 10 minutes if you have time, then serve on sourdough, in a wrap, or in lettuce cups.
Notes
The simplest version is just tuna, mayo, and relish. The celery, red onion, and seasonings make the better version, but they're all optional. For the freshest, less-sweet flavor, use homemade sweet relish, though Vlasic or Heinz work well too.
